Floor levelling is generally required to take out the dips and bumps in floor surfaces so new floor covering will not show these imperfections. Australian standards state different types of floor surface level classes, this will depend on your intended use. Floor toppings are used when the required RL (Reduced Level) is to be raised. Two methods are used, either bonded or non-bonded. This is usually to be specified by your design engineer or your floor covering installer or supplier.
