Richard Crookes
Richard Crookes Constructions is a private, family-owned construction company since 1976. Richard Crookes follow their motto of ‘delivering certainty for over 40 years’. This is our first collaboration with Richard Crookes as we partner up in the Tailor’s Walk, Botany development.
Tailor’s Walk is a brand new community equipped with a collection of terrace homes and apartments amidst intimate green spaces, commercial spaces and landscaped connections. Tailor’s Walk consists of 4 towers with the largest tower consisting of 8 storeys and a basement car park.
General Beton looks forward to being part of this development in the Eastern Suburbs as we take on a challenge in supplying, pumping and placing concrete for this new community in Botany. At General Beton, we aim to provide a quality service and are willing to try new methods and systems in continually improving our delivery to clients. We have implemented new equipment and technologies for concreting and safety such as the Spider Boom Pump and 3D Safety.
This project was the first to use the Spider Boom Pump in East Coast Australia which provided more efficient concrete pumping to reach small areas with its compact body and being able to work as a tower boom. It enables a quicker set-up of equipment and pour on the day, keeping our clients happy. This project was also our first time in conducting all safety measures online using a 3D Safety software. This involved all inductions, training, reporting, monitoring and implementation of safety measures carried out through this system. This new technology ensured a high quality and regard to General Beton personnel’s safety and security on site.
